S.I.C. (Super Imaginative Chogokin)

S.I.C. (Super Imaginative Chogokin) is a Bandai figure series launched in December 1998 with Vol.1 Kikaider, after a prototype was shown at the Tokyo Toy Show in March 1998. Top sculptors such as Takayuki Takeya and Kenji Ando reinterpret characters from Shotaro Ishinomori’s Toei tokusatsu works — mainly Kamen Rider, as well as Kikaider, Inazuman and Henshin Ninja Arashi — with a focus on design and sculpting artistry. Early releases were fixed-pose figures, and articulated action figures began with Vol.11. The line moved to BANDAI SPIRITS (Tamashii Nations) in 2018.
