Dragon Ball • Chara Puchi Series

Chara Puchi is a Bandai Candy shokugan (candy toy) series of small painted figures on a base, sold with a sweet. The Dragon Ball Z version arrived in 2004, after the format had already been used for other licences, with ten figures per wave sold with a ramune candy and bases shaped like a Dragon Ball or a spaceship. Later waves covered the Cell, Majin Buu and Frieza arcs, and the January 2008 “Invincible Fusion!” wave featured Vegito and Gotenks on one- to seven-star Dragon Ball bases. In 2016 the series returned for Dragon Ball Super, with clear ball-shaped bases and a piece of gum.
