Chogokin • GD Series

The GD series is the Chogokin numbering of Bandai’s 1996 revival of DX Chogokin, after robot Chogokin had stopped with Jetman. It began with GD-01 DX Kabuterios from B-Fighter Kabuto and GD-02 Kankichi Ryotsu from Kochikame, a human character given robot-style gimmicks such as a rocket punch. The numbering went on to cover Super Sentai robots from Megaranger, Gingaman, GoGo Five, Gaoranger and Hurricaneger, as well as B-Robo Kabutack, Kamen Rider, Gundam and Mechagodzilla items. It reached GD-99 DX Aquarion from Genesis of Aquarion, with the last GD releases in 2006, when the GE numbering began.
