Gundam • Real Grade

Real Grade (RG) is Bandai’s line of 1/144 scale Gunpla plastic model kits pursuing realism, launched for the 30th anniversary of Gunpla with the RX-78-2 Gundam on 24 July 2010. RG kits bring features of larger grades to the palm-sized scale: a full inner frame onto which the armour is fitted, fine multi-colour part separation and realistic decals. Most use the Advanced MS Joint, a pre-assembled frame runner moulded from two plastics. Besides Gundam, the line has included Evangelion units (2020) and GaoGaiGar (2022). Since 2018 it has been produced by Bandai Spirits.
