Kamen Rider • Souchaku Henshin (装着変身)

Souchaku Henshin (装着変身) is a Bandai action figure line launched in January 2000 with GD-22 Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form & Growing Form. Each figure, about 130 mm tall, is completed by fitting armour with die-cast parts onto a base body, and swapping the armour recreates the heroes’ on-screen form changes; because of its metal armour the line was also sold within Bandai’s Chogokin range. It covered mainly Kamen Rider and the Space Sheriff series and is regarded as the de facto predecessor of S.H.Figuarts (2008). In 2026 Tamashii Nations announced the brand’s revival with updated versions.
