The Mask • From Zero to Hero Series

Kenner’s The Mask line, sold under the ‘From Zero to Hero’ banner, followed the 1994 Jim Carrey film and the animated series that aired from 1995 to 1997. The toys arrived after the film’s home video release in January 1995, in two waves of carded figures, three on red cards and then six on yellow cards, most of them variations of the Mask with a special action feature. Hasbro’s 1996 pre-Toy Fair catalogue showed figures in outfits from the CBS animated series, the Super-Stretch Mask that stretches to three times its size, the Mask Mobile with launching ejector seat and chomping teeth, and a Mask Cycle with an exclusive Milo dog figure.
