RoboCop and the Ultra Police
Kenner’s RoboCop and the Ultra Police line, introduced in 1988 and designed around RoboCop: The Animated Series. The first series had 11 action figures: RoboCop, the Ultra Police officers Anne Lewis, Sergeant Reed, Ace Jackson, Wheels Wilson and Birdman Barnes, Dr. McNamara, and villains such as ED-260, Headhunter, Nitro and Chainsaw. The figures could load and fire strips of caps. A second series in 1989 added seven more figures, including Robo-Command, and the range also offered vehicles such as RoboCop’s Police Cruiser and variants like the glow-in-the-dark Nightfighter RoboCop.
