Beetlejuice • Basic Series
Kenner’s Beetlejuice action figure line, sold from 1989 to 1990 and based on Tim Burton’s 1988 film. Series One had six figures: Showtime Beetlejuice, Spinhead Beetlejuice, Shish Kebab Beetlejuice, Harry the Haunted Hunter, Otho the Obnoxious and Adam Maitland the Headless Ghost, most of them packed with a creature such as the Rotten Rattler. Series Two added Exploding Beetlejuice and Shipwreck Beetlejuice. Kenner widened the range with the four Neighborhood Nasties, the Creepy Cruiser (1989) and Phantom Flyer (1990) vehicles and a 16-inch talking Beetlejuice.
