Kenner’s Return of the Jedi line, released in 1983 and 1984 for the third Star Wars film. Kenner added 31 new 3¾-inch figures, bringing the vintage range to 79, including Luke Skywalker as a Jedi Knight, Ewoks such as Wicket W. Warrick, and Jabba the Hutt with Salacious Crumb; early cards blacked out some Ewok images to keep them a surprise. Admiral Ackbar was first offered as a mail-away figure on Empire Strikes Back cards under the film’s working title, Revenge of the Jedi, before appearing on Return of the Jedi cards. Vehicles and playsets included the Speeder Bike, the Imperial Shuttle, the Rancor Monster and the Ewok Village.
