Mazinger Z: Infinity

Mazinger Z: Infinity (劇場版 マジンガーZ / INFINITY, Gekijōban Majingā Zetto / Infiniti) is a 2017 Japanese animated super robot film directed by Junji Shimizu. It is a feature film sequel to the Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger manga and anime series. It ignores the events of the subsequent series, Grendizer and Mazinkaiser. The film was produced to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the original Mazinger Z. It premiered worldwide in on October 28, 2017 at the 12th Rome Film Festival, and in Japan in January 13, 2018.

When the evil Dr Hell attacks the Earth, the mighty giant mecha Mazinger Z is formed to stop him.

Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact!, known in Japan as True Mazinger Impact! Z Chapter (真マジンガー 衝撃! Z編, Shin Majingā Shōgeki! Zetto Hen), translated in the Soul of Chogokin toys line as Shin Mazinger Impact Z!, is a Mazinger anime series, directed by Yasuhiro Imagawa (of G Gundam and Giant Robo fame) which premiered in Japan on April 4, 2009.

They Live

They Live is a 1988 American science-fiction action thriller film written and directed by John Carpenter, and based on the 1963 short story “Eight O’Clock in the Morning” by Ray Nelson. The film was a minor success at the time of its release, debuting #1 at the North American box office. It originally received negative reviews criticizing its social commentary, writing and acting. However, like other films of Carpenter, it later enjoyed a cult following and eventually became recognized as a largely underrated work. The film has also entered popular culture, and notably had a lasting impact on street art (particularly that of Shepard Fairey), while its near six-minute alley brawl between the protagonists makes appearances on all-time lists for best fight scenes.

Mazinger Z vs. The Great General of Darkness (マジンガーZ対暗黒大将軍, Majingâ Zetto tai Ankoku Daishôgun) is a 1974 Japanese mecha animated film that served as an alternative link between the Mazinger Z series and the Great Mazinger series. It basically introduces Great Mazinger to the audience, as well as his enemies from the Mikene Empire, showing the defeat of Mazinger Z. It was released on July 25, 1974.

PLOT
The evil Mycene Empire unleashes its army against humans in a world wide strike. Koji Kabuto must risk his life in a desperate journey to find Mazinkaiser so he can defend the Earth against this ruthless new enemy.

Mazinger Z vs. Devilman

Mazinger Z vs. Devilman (マジンガーZ対デビルマン, Majingā Zetto tai Debiruman) is a 1973 animated movie that crossed over two then-popular anime series, both of which were created by manga artist Go Nagai. Note, however, that the movie features alternate versions of events from both series, and is therefore not canonical to either one.

Astroganger (アストロガンガー Astroganga) is a Super Robot anime series created by Knack Productions. It consisted of 26 episodes and originally aired from October 4, 1972 to March 28, 1973.

Plot

An alien woman named Maya crash-lands on Earth. Her homeworld was destroyed by the Blasters, a cruel alien race who steals the natural resources from other planets. She falls in love with a scientist and gives birth to a human boy named Kantaro. When the Blasters invade the Earth, Kantaro must defeat them by fighting with Astroganger, a robot made from living metal.

Mazinger Z

Mazinger Z (Japanese: マジンガーZ, Hepburn: Majingā Zetto, known briefly as Tranzor Z in the United States) is a Japanese super robot manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai. The first manga version was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from October 1972 to August 1973, and it later continued in Kodansha TV Magazine from October 1973 to September 1974. It was adapted into an anime television series which aired on Fuji TV from December 1972 to September 1974. A second manga series was released alongside the TV show, this one drawn by Gosaku Ota, which started and ended almost at the same time as the TV show. Mazinger Z has spawned several sequels and spinoff series, among them being Great Mazinger, UFO Robot Grendizer and Mazinkaiser.

PLOT
Teenager Koji Kabuto pilots the amazing super-robot Mazinger Z to avenge its inventor (his grandfather) against the Mycene Empire, led by the evil mad scientist Doctor Hell.
