Ghostbusters
Ghostbusters is a 1984 American supernatural comedy film directed and produced by Ivan Reitman, and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. Starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis as eccentric parapsychologists who launch a ghost-catching business in New York City, the film became a major pop culture classic. Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis and Ernie Hudson also appear in key roles, helping establish the team and universe that later expanded into sequels, animation, toys and other media.
The story follows three former parapsychology professors who start an unusual ghost-removal business in New York City, turning supernatural investigations into a commercial service.
