Gorenger
Himitsu Sentai Gorenger is a Japanese tokusatsu superhero series created by Shotaro Ishinomori. Broadcast from 1975 to 1977, it was the first entry in the long-running Super Sentai franchise. The series introduced the colorful team-based hero format that would become a defining element of Japanese tokusatsu television.
The story follows five surviving EAGLE agents who are recruited to become the Himitsu Sentai Gorenger after the terrorist Black Cross Army attacks EAGLE’s branches across Japan. Equipped with electronic battle suits, they join forces to stop the Black Cross Army and defeat its leader, the Black Cross Führer.
