Afterburner was a M.A.S.K. Series 4 (Split Seconds) vehicle released by Kenner in 1988, a dragster that converts into a stealth jet and a cannon launcher. In keeping with the Split Seconds gimmick, it came with a holographic "Computer Image" driver rather than a posable figure, and its jet mode features a fold-out cockpit and concealed weaponry. The set was assigned to Dusty "Powderkeg" Hayes with his New Backlash mask. As part of the final wave, Afterburner was among the last vehicles of the original toyline.
