Kenner • M.A.S.K • Duo Figure Packs

The Duo Figure Packs were carded two-figure sets that paired two M.A.S.K. or VENOM agents together, each supplied with their character mask but without an accompanying vehicle. They offered a way to collect agents on their own, and were a particularly notable part of the line’s European distribution, where Kenner released a number of German and German/French two-packs. Many of these sets featured recoloured masks distinct from the versions packed with the vehicles, such as Julio Lopez with a red Streamer mask or Hondo MacLean with a gold-and-black Blaster II. Pairings documented in these packs include Ace Riker with Hondo MacLean, Julio Lopez with Calhoun Burns, Matt Trakker with Julio Lopez, and Hondo MacLean with Vanessa Warfield. Because of their regional, figure-only nature, these two-packs are of particular interest to collectors.
