The first product was the Mini Mini Cyclone from Kamen Rider in June 1972, and the Popynica name has been used since July 1973. The PA numbering runs from PA-01 Cyclone (1972) to PA-99 (1977) and includes the Hurricane from Kamen Rider V3, the Hover Pilder from Mazinger Z and the Side Machine from Kikaider (1973), as well as the Combattler V machines that combine into the robot. In 1974 the line recorded sales of one million units.
