Hondo “Striker” MacLean

Hondo "Striker" MacLean is an agent of M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand), the secret task force led by Matt Trakker. Aged thirty-two and carrying the codename "Striker," he works in civilian life as a high-school history teacher. Within M.A.S.K. he serves as the team's weapons specialist and tactical field strategist, often described as the backbone of the team, and his knowledge of history frequently helps the agents understand VENOM's schemes involving treasures, relics, and mythical artifacts. He is also known for his interests in football, chess, and off-road driving. His original vehicle is Firecracker, a pickup truck with a detachable bike that elevates into a mobile weapons platform; after it is destroyed in "A Matter of Gravity," he takes over Hurricane, a '57 Chevy that converts into a heavily armed field command post. His mask, Blaster (with later versions Blaster II and New Blaster), fires powerful proton laser beams. He often partners with co-pilot Buddie Hawks on missions. In the animated series he was voiced by Doug Stone and first appeared in the pilot episode "The Deathstone."
