Bruno “Mad Dog” Sheppard

Bruno "Mad Dog" Sheppard is an agent of VENOM (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem), the criminal organization led by Miles Mayhem, and one of its toughest and most dangerous members. Carrying the codename "Mad Dog," he is a convicted kidnapper with a record of brutal hand-to-hand violence, and his trade within the team is kidnapping. He cuts a menacing figure with his Mohawk haircut and the tattoos across his arm and chest. Though he shares the raw brute strength of fellow agent Cliff Dagger, he is portrayed as noticeably more clever, and in the episode "For One Shining Moment" he reveals himself to be a master of disguise capable of rivalling Clutch Hawks, imitating Brad Turner's voice and successfully posing as a police officer. Within VENOM he pilots Stinger, a Pontiac GTO that converts into an armored tank fitted with an extendable claw, and later the Split Seconds vehicle Barracuda. His mask, Magna-Beam, emits a magnetic wave that attracts and pulls metal objects toward him. He first appeared in the episode "The Chinese Scorpion" and in the animated series was voiced by Doug Stone.
