Masters of the Universe • Cartoon Collection

The Cartoon Collection is a Masters of the Universe Origins sub-line by Mattel, with 5.5-inch-scale figures inspired by Filmation’s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and She-Ra: Princess of Power cartoons of the 1980s. Announced in autumn 2023, the first figures, including He-Man, Skeletor, Man-at-Arms, Teela, Beast Man and Trap Jaw, shipped in early 2024, each figure with 16 moveable joints, an episode-based accessory and a mini comic. The figures use new bodies that stand a little taller than the vintage-style Origins figures, and the packaging carries a Cartoon sticker that mimics the Filmation logo. By 2025 the collection counted more than 30 characters.
