BraveStarr • Basic series

Mattel’s BraveStarr action figure line, released in 1986, a year before Filmation’s BraveStarr animated series premiered in September 1987 (65 episodes). The figures were large for the time, at nearly eight inches (20 cm) tall; each had its own action feature and came with one or more Kerium nuggets, and Marshal BraveStarr and Tex Hex came with a Laser Fire Backpack that fired infrared beams. Other figures included Handlebar, Sand Storm, Thirty/Thirty, Skuzz, Fuzz, Col. Borobot and Thunder Stick, alongside the Neutra-Laser and the Fort Kerium playset. A second series of figures was designed but never produced.
