Meteor was a M.A.S.K. Series 3 (Racing) vehicle released by Kenner in 1987, a stunt jet that splits into a flying pod and a mobile tank. The aircraft separates so that the cockpit pod takes flight while the rest reconfigures into a ground tank command center with a fold-down protective shield. The set was packaged with Ace "Falcon" Riker and his Cruise Control mask, which can accelerate or decelerate vehicles. As part of the racing-themed third wave, Meteor replaced Ace Riker's earlier Slingshot vehicle.
