Manta was a VENOM Series 3 (Racing) vehicle released by Kenner in 1987, a sporty Nissan 300ZX that converts into an assault plane. Its transformation extends dual raked wings and a propulsion turbine with a fuselage, turning the sleek sports car into a swift aircraft. The set was packaged with Vanessa "Ice Queen" Warfield and her Whip mask, which fires bolts of electrical energy. As part of the racing-themed third wave, Manta served as the vehicle of VENOM's lone female agent.
