Nash “Goon” Gorey

CHARACTER FROM: / M.A.S.K

Nash "Goon" Gorey

Nash "Goon" Gorey is an agent of VENOM (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem), the criminal organization led by Miles Mayhem. Aged thirty-four and carrying the codename "Goon," he serves as the team's electronic surveillance specialist and computer hacker, and he is also skilled in espionage. Physically unimposing, with large glasses, unkempt hair, and a nasal voice, he is the opposite of brawny henchmen like Bruno Sheppard and Cliff Dagger, relying instead on his intelligence and technical resourcefulness. He is an overeager, simpering yes-man to Mayhem, and his constant brown-nosing earns him a fair amount of verbal abuse from Sly Rax and the disdain of his fellow agents, making him something of VENOM's outcast. He compensates for his lack of muscle with his mask, Powerhouse (occasionally called Samson), which grants him tremendous physical strength. Within VENOM he serves as co-pilot of Outlaw, a large oil tanker that converts into a mobile headquarters, working the controls alongside Mayhem. In the comics he was originally presented as a M.A.S.K. recruit before being revealed as a VENOM mole. In the animated series he was voiced by Doug Stone and first appeared in the episode "The Lost Fleet."

Abilities : Nash is an electronic surveillance whiz and computer hacker who co-pilots Outlaw, an oil tanker that converts into a mobile headquarters. His Powerhouse mask grants him tremendous physical strength, compensating for his slight build.
