Julio “Doc” Lopez

Julio "Doc" Lopez is an agent of M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand), the secret task force led by Matt Trakker. Aged twenty-nine and carrying the codename "Doc," he is of Latino descent and works in civilian life as a family doctor, serving as the team's medic. He is also an expert in languages and cryptography, making him valuable for codebreaking and analysis. In the episode "The Everglades Oddity," it is his medical judgement, as a certified doctor, that leads him to advise Matt to rest after a venomous snakebite. Within M.A.S.K. he pilots Firefly (also known as Dragonfly), a dune buggy that converts into a small supersonic jet, and later the vehicle Fireforce. His mask, Streamer, releases a stream of super-tack glue to ensnare and immobilize his targets, and he later uses a New Streamer mask. He appeared mainly in the first season and, like Bruce Sato and Hondo MacLean, was absent from the second-season Racing Series. In the animated series he was voiced by Graeme McKenna and first appeared in the episode "Follow the Rainbow."
