Transformers • Transformers: Beast Wars II

The Beast Wars II toys are Takara’s first Japan-original Beast Wars line-up, released from March 1998 alongside the Beast Wars II anime, with packaging that kept the Transformers: Beast Wars branding. The range mixed Hasbro Beast Wars moulds not yet sold in Japan, Generation 2 vehicle robots, Generation 1 figures and a few items intended for Microman, many of them repainted or retooled; only Lio Convoy, Galvatron and Moon received all-new sculpts. The line was made by Takara, before the 2006 Takara Tomy merger.
