Blackstar • Basic Series
Galoob action figure line based on Filmation’s animated series Blackstar, produced from 1983 to 1985. Heroes such as Blackstar, Klone and Mara came with small Trobbits, and villains such as the Overlord and Neptul with Demons; Trobbits were also sold separately. In 1984 Galoob added new characters and re-released figures with a “Laser Light” feature, a flint that made sparks flash on the chest. The range also included vehicles, the Space Ship and the Ice Castle playset.
