Popy • Big Scale Ships
Manufacturer: Popy • Released: 1980
The giant robots featured in the Super Sentai series of live-action television shows were often ferried around in giant spacecraft. Popy created a series of large-sized “carrier” spaceship toys, collectively known as “Big Scale,” to mimic the effect. Bandai continued the tradition after absorbing Popy into their corporate structure in 1983.
