Boris “The Czar” Bushkin

Boris "The Czar" Bushkin is an agent of M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand), the secret task force led by Matt Trakker. A big, burly, bald, and bearded Russian who carries the codename "The Czar," he is notable as a former VENOM agent who defected to M.A.S.K. Introduced in the show's second season, the Racing Series, he received relatively little screen time. He has a habit of addressing everyone as "comrade" and is marked by the M.A.S.K. emblem worn on the back of his head. He makes a memorable entrance in the episode "Demolition Duel to the Death," driving his vehicle in the Memphis Demolition Derby, where Vanessa Warfield attempts to recruit the formidable Russian into VENOM and sets a trap for Clutch Hawks. Within M.A.S.K. he pilots Bulldog, a large heavy-duty truck. His mask, Comrade, is an energy-based weapon mask. As a toy, he was packaged with the Bulldog vehicle released by Kenner in 1987.
