The Uncanny X-Men

Toy Biz’s 5-inch X-Men action figure line, launched in 1991 with nine figures: Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Magneto, Juggernaut, Apocalypse and Archangel. Boosted by X-Men: The Animated Series from 1992, it grew through several assortments a year into hundreds of heroes, villains and variants, with vehicles, playsets and, from the mid-1990s, themed sub-series. Declining sales brought the line to an end in 1998.
