Spider-Man Classics series

Spider-Man Classics is the name collectors give to Toy Biz’s 6-inch Spider-Man action figure lines. Launched in 2001, it was Toy Biz’s first highly detailed, highly articulated line of this scale: two series plus exclusives in clamshell packaging with a comic book or poster, before the format was spun off into Marvel Legends in 2002. It was followed by a blister-card line without comics, labelled “Spider-Man Classic” on Toy Biz’s website, which reached 19 series; from Series 16 the packaging carried an “Amazing Spider-Man” logo.
