Redesign of MG-034 with improved articulation and proportions. Uses Emotion Manipulator SP (MP1) plate runner, a new preassembled hand design dual-molded in ABS and polypropylene for high articulation. Features “Invoke Mode” gimmick, which consists mainly of a green psychoframe (transformation requires removal of some armor parts). Includes Amuro Ray (blue uniform) figurine, an Amuro insignia display base from MG-095, effect parts for the Fin Funnels, and water slide decal sheet. Neck accommodates Gunpla LED Unit (sold separately). Released to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Char’s Counterattack.

Capable of atmospheric flight, the Mark VII is the front-line variant of the Viper design, retaining the Mark II’s general layout but adding fully integrated avionics that provide superior battle management and flight information for the pilot. Ironically, it is this incorporation of new integrated systems that prevents the majority of Mark VIIs from being effective during the Cylon attack: as with the majority of Colonial Fleet, the Mark VIIs suffer fatal computer system failures on contact with Cylon forces. This all-plastic assembly kit requires glue and paint for finishing and is compatible, at 1/32nd-scale, with previous BSG kit releases. Full color decals, landing gear, pilot figure, and display stand included.

Colonial Viper MkII

The Colonial Viper MKII, our first Battlestar Galactica kit release. Designed to operate in both space and atmospheric conditions, the Viper is the Colonial Fleet’s primary Space Superiority Fighter/Attack craft. The Viper MKII was originally introduced in Colonial service shortly before the outbreak of the 1st Cylon War. The MKII remained in service after the end of the conflict, but was subsequently superseded by newer models. The Viper MKII is molded in 1/32 scale.
