Tron
Tron is an American science fiction franchise by Disney, launched in 1982 with Tron, directed by Steven Lisberger, one of the first films to make extensive use of computer graphics. It continued with Tron: Legacy (2010), the animated series Tron: Uprising (2012), video games and Tron: Ares (2025).
The programmer Kevin Flynn is digitized into the Grid, a computer world where programs are living beings forced to fight in deadly games, and fights alongside the security program Tron. Years later, his son Sam Flynn enters the Grid to find his missing father and faces Clu, the program Kevin created in his own image, with the help of the mysterious Quorra.
