The King of Fighters
The King of Fighters is a series of fighting games developed by SNK, launched in 1994 on the Neo Geo. Each episode is a three-fighter team tournament that brings together characters from Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Ikari Warriors and other SNK games alongside the series’ own heroes.
Every year, invitations to the King of Fighters tournament reach teams of three fighters around the world. Behind each edition lie dark ambitions: those of the arms dealer Rugal Bernstein, the ancient power of Orochi sealed 1,800 years ago, the NESTS cartel and the mysterious clan Those from the Past. Kyo Kusanagi, heir to one of the clans that sealed Orochi, and his sworn rival Iori Yagami are drawn into every new conflict.
