Synduality Noir
Synduality Noir is a 2023 mecha anime series by Eight Bit and Bandai Namco Filmworks, part of Bandai Namco’s Synduality mixed-media project, directed by Yusuke Yamamoto. Its two parts aired in 2023 and 2024.
In a future ravaged by a poisonous rain that spawned monsters called Enders, humanity lives underground. On the surface, Drifters pilot mechs called Cradle Coffins with the help of Magus, humanoid AI partners, to scavenge precious resources. Kanata, a young man dreaming of becoming a Drifter, finds Noir, an amnesiac Magus asleep in ruins, and the two set out together.
