Shangri-La Frontier
Shangri-La Frontier began as a web novel by Katarina in 2017. Its manga adaptation, illustrated by Ryosuke Fuji, has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2020, and the television anime by C2C premiered in October 2023.
Rakuro Hizutome is a high school student who loves to beat so-called trash games, the buggiest and most broken titles around. For a change, he dives into Shangri-La Frontier, a hugely popular full-dive virtual reality game. Playing as the bird-masked Sunraku, he uses the skills honed on bad games to uncover the world's hidden scenarios with his gamer friends Arthur Pencilgon and Oikatzo.
