Resident Evil
Resident Evil, known in Japan as Biohazard, is a survival horror video game franchise created by Capcom, launched in 1996 with Resident Evil on PlayStation. One of the best-selling video game series, it spread to films, including the six live-action films starring Milla Jovovich from 2002 to 2016, animated films, series, novels and comics.
The pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation secretly develops the T-virus, which turns people into zombies and creates monstrous creatures. From the mansion in the Arklay Mountains to the fall of Raccoon City, the members of the S.T.A.R.S. unit Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, the rookie policeman Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield fight the outbreaks and the schemes of Albert Wesker; in the films, Alice, a former Umbrella security officer, leads the fight.
