Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger
Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger is the 47th Super Sentai series by Toei, broadcast on TV Asahi from 2023 to 2024. Its theme is insects and royalty: the heroes are the kings of five kingdoms, in a fantasy world filmed largely with virtual sets.
On the planet Chikyu, five kings piloted the giant King-Ohger 2,000 years ago to defeat the Bug Naraku, and a prophecy foretells their return. When the invasion begins again, Gira, an orphan of the kingdom of Shugoddam, awakens the guardian Shugods and becomes Kuwagata Ohger, joining the rulers of the four other kingdoms against the Bug Naraku and the tyrannical King Racules.
