Metaphor: ReFantazio is a 2024 fantasy role-playing game developed by Studio Zero and published by Atlus, directed by Katsura Hashino with character designs by Shigenori Soejima and music by Shoji Meguro, the team behind the Persona series.
The United Kingdom of Euchronia is thrown into chaos when its king is assassinated and a magical decree announces that the next ruler will be chosen by a tournament of popularity. A young man of the despised elda tribe, accompanied by the fairy Gallica, sets out to break the curse afflicting the kingdom's prince and enters the race for the throne, gathering companions who awaken powers called Archetypes.
