Love Live! School Idol Project
Love Live! School Idol Project is a multimedia project by ASCII Media Works, Lantis and Sunrise launched in 2010, following the nine-member school idol group μ’s. Its TV anime (2013-2014) and 2015 film made it the start of the Love Live! franchise.
When Otonokizaka High School in Tokyo is threatened with closure for lack of students, second-year Honoka Kosaka decides to save it by forming a school idol group. With her friends Umi and Kotori and six other girls, she creates μ's, which rises to compete in the Love Live!, the national school idol championship.
