Kosuke Kindaichi
Kosuke Kindaichi is the fictional detective created by novelist Seishi Yokomizo in 1946, hero of some 77 novels and of many films and TV dramas, including Kon Ichikawa’s films (1976–2006).
Wearing a worn hakama and a shabby hat, scratching his dandruff-filled hair, the stammering Kosuke Kindaichi solves gruesome murders in old families of rural postwar Japan.
