Inglourious Basterds
Inglourious Basterds is a 2009 war film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, starring Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz and Mélanie Laurent. An alternate history of the Second World War told in five chapters, it earned Christoph Waltz the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
In Nazi-occupied France, Lieutenant Aldo Raine leads the Basterds, a squad of Jewish-American soldiers who spread terror by scalping German soldiers. Their plan to kill the Nazi leadership at a Paris film premiere crosses the revenge of Shosanna Dreyfus, the young cinema owner whose family was murdered by the SS colonel Hans Landa, the Jew Hunter.
