Goemon
Goemon is a 2009 Japanese action film directed by Kazuaki Kiriya, the director of Casshern, starring Yōsuke Eguchi. It reimagines the legend of the outlaw Ishikawa Goemon as a ninja thief in a lavish, stylised version of late 16th-century Japan.
After the death of Oda Nobunaga, the gentleman thief Goemon Ishikawa, a former ninja who robs the rich to give to the poor, steals a mysterious box that holds the secret of the warlord's assassination. Hunted by Toyotomi Hideyoshi's men and by his old friend Saizo Kirigakure, he is drawn into the struggle for power and finds again Princess Chacha, the girl he once loved.
