Edward Scissorhands
Edward Scissorhands is a 1990 American fantasy film directed by Tim Burton, starring Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Dianne Wiest and Vincent Price in his last major screen role. A modern fairy tale, it was the first collaboration between Tim Burton and Johnny Depp.
Edward, an artificial young man left unfinished with scissors for hands after the death of the inventor who created him, lives alone in a gothic mansion above a pastel suburb. Taken in by the kind Avon lady Peg Boggs, he wins over the neighbourhood with his topiary and haircuts and falls in love with her daughter Kim, before the townspeople turn against him.
