Clash of the Titans
Clash of the Titans is a fantasy film inspired by the Greek myth of Perseus, first released in 1981 with stop-motion effects by Ray Harryhausen. Warner Bros. remade it in 2010, directed by Louis Leterrier with Sam Worthington as Perseus, followed by Wrath of the Titans (2012).
Perseus, a demigod son of Zeus raised as a fisherman, leads a band of warriors on a quest to stop Hades, god of the underworld, who has turned against Olympus and threatens to unleash the Kraken on the city of Argos. Guided by the immortal Io, he must face Medusa, whose gaze turns men to stone, to save Princess Andromeda.
