Cars
Cars is a Disney-Pixar franchise launched with the 2006 animated film directed by John Lasseter, followed by Cars 2 (2011), Cars 3 (2017), spin-offs and series, set in a world of living vehicles.
On his way to the decisive Piston Cup race in California, the cocky rookie racecar Lightning McQueen gets lost on Route 66 and lands in the forgotten town of Radiator Springs. Sentenced to repave its road, he befriends the tow truck Mater, falls for Sally Carrera and learns from the old Doc Hudson that racing is not only about winning.
