Cardcaptor Sakura
Cardcaptor Sakura is a Japanese magical girl manga by CLAMP, serialised in Nakayoshi from 1996 to 2000, adapted by Madhouse into a 70-episode anime (1998-2000) and two films. Its sequel, Clear Card, began in 2016.
Ten-year-old Sakura Kinomoto finds a mysterious book in her father's library and accidentally scatters the Clow Cards, magical cards created by the sorcerer Clow Reed. Guided by Kero, the guardian beast of the seal, and supported by her best friend Tomoyo, who films her and designs her costumes, she becomes a Cardcaptor to recapture them, competing with Syaoran Li, a descendant of Clow.
