Apocalypse Zero
Apocalypse Zero (Kakugo no Susume) is a manga by Takayuki Yamaguchi serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion from 1994 to 1996 and collected in 11 volumes. It was partly adapted into a two-episode OVA released in 1996, and a PlayStation game followed in Japan in 1997.
In a ruined, post-apocalyptic Tokyo overrun by monstrous Tactical Fiends, the young Kakugo Hagakure wears Zero, a Fortified Armor Shell forged from the souls of 3,000 dead warriors, to protect the innocent. His elder brother Harara, corrupted by his own armor Kasumi, has chosen the opposite path of destruction.
