Community Creation Policy

Welcome to collectibles.wiki, a community-built encyclopedia for collectible toys.

This Policy applies to the website collectibles.wiki and to Oozaruu, the Collectibles Wiki mobile app for Android and iOS (package and bundle identifier wiki.collectibles.app, published on Google Play and the App Store by YOOLK SASU), both operated by YOOLK SASU. Photos sent from the app follow the same rules and the same moderation as those sent from the website.

This Community Creation Policy explains what members may submit to the Service, what is prohibited, how moderation works, and how copyright, trademark, and other rights-related complaints are handled.

By creating an account, submitting content, or otherwise using collectibles.wiki, you agree to follow this Policy.

1. Purpose of the Service

collectibles.wiki is a participatory reference website dedicated to collectible toys, toy lines, figures, accessories, packaging variants, brands, themes, and related documentation.

Users may:
– bookmark toy themes;
– create personal folders and collection tracking records through their registered account;
– submit new toys, edits, images, descriptions, and related metadata for review.

The Service is community-driven. Submissions are reviewed and may be approved, rejected, edited, restricted, or removed at the sole discretion of the operator or moderators.

2. Who May Submit Content

You may submit content only if:
– you are legally allowed to use the Service;
– the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
– you have the rights, permissions, or other lawful basis necessary for the content you submit; and
– your submission complies with this Policy and applicable law.

3. What You May Submit

You may submit:
– factual information about collectible toys and toy lines;
– original descriptions, notes, and research;
– photographs or scans that you created and have the right to upload;
– metadata, references, release details, identifiers, and catalog information;
– lawful referential material used for identification, commentary, criticism, comparison, archival, documentation, or similar legitimate purposes.

4. What You Must Not Submit

You must not submit, upload, link to, or request publication of any content that:
– infringes copyright, trademark, design, patent, database, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
– copies third-party catalog text, wiki text, product descriptions, databases, manuals, or scans without authorization or other lawful basis;
– contains counterfeit listings, fraudulent provenance claims, or deceptive authenticity statements;
– is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory;
– contains malware, hidden code, spam, scraping tools, credential attacks, or other harmful material;
– reveals personal data of another person without a lawful basis;
– impersonates a brand owner, collector, rights holder, or another user;
– attempts to manipulate moderation, search visibility, or community trust; or
– is otherwise unsafe, misleading, or inappropriate for a community reference service.

5. Copyrighted and Branded Material

collectibles.wiki may contain references to third-party brands, product names, logos, packaging elements, and other protected material because the Service documents collectible toys and their history.

However:
– you remain responsible for ensuring that your submission is lawful;
– the fact that the Service is a wiki or reference site does not automatically make a use lawful;
– brand names, logos, and similar material may only be submitted where you have permission or where applicable law allows such use for identification, commentary, documentation, comparison, archival, or other legitimate purposes; and
– the Service may remove material at any time if there is doubt about legality, permission, provenance, or risk.

6. Review, Validation, and Moderation

All or some submissions may be subject to prior review by an administrator before publication.

We may, without prior notice:
– approve or reject any submission;
– request sources, proof of ownership, or proof of authorization;
– edit formatting, categorization, or wording for consistency or legal risk reduction;
– temporarily unpublish or permanently remove content;
– suspend review privileges or accounts; and
– preserve moderation records for compliance, abuse prevention, or dispute handling.

Publication is not automatic, and rejection does not imply that a submission was unlawful or inaccurate.

7. License You Grant to collectibles.wiki

If you submit content to the Service, you grant collectibles.wiki a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical purposes, format, translate, display, distribute, and make available your submission in connection with operating, improving, securing, promoting, and archiving the Service.

This license is limited to the purposes of running and maintaining the Service and does not transfer ownership of your underlying rights.

You also grant us the right to use your username or attribution name in connection with your submission, unless we decide or are required to anonymize it.

8. Your Warranties

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:
– you have the necessary rights or lawful basis for the submission;
– your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
– your submission does not knowingly violate this Policy or applicable law; and
– you will promptly cooperate if we ask for clarification, attribution corrections, or supporting information.

9. Reports, Complaints, and Takedown Requests

If you believe content on collectibles.wiki is unlawful or infringes your rights, you may contact us at: abuse@collectibles.wiki

Please include, where possible:
– the exact URL(s) or location(s) of the content;
– a clear explanation of the issue;
– your name and contact email;
– information showing your rights or authority to act;
– any supporting evidence; and
– a statement that you are acting in good faith and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

We may remove or restrict access to content while reviewing a complaint. We may also contact the submitter, request additional information, or keep a record of the report.

10. Repeat Infringement and Abuse

We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in repeated infringement, repeated unlawful submissions, repeated bad-faith reports, or other misuse of the Service.

11. No Obligation to Publish or Monitor Everything

collectibles.wiki may moderate content, but it does not guarantee a complete review of every submission, nor does it guarantee that all unlawful or disputed content will be detected before publication.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on the Service.
