Macross • 1/100 Transformable VF-1 Series

Toynami’s 1/100 scale transformable VF-1 line debuted in 2006 and remained in production through 2021 across multiple waves and sub-branding changes, making it the longest-running Toynami Macross/Robotech product. Early releases were marketed under the Macross name; from 2015 onward the line switched to the Robotech banner to coincide with the 30th anniversary. Constructed from ABS plastic with no die-cast metal, each figure transforms across three modes and comes with a display stand, gunpod, missiles, and landing gear. Later waves added pilot figures and were packaged in sleeker retail-friendly boxes. The final releases formed the Macross Saga: Retro Transformable Collection sub-line in 2020–2021.
