Sega is a Japanese video game company founded on June 3, 1960, a subsidiary of Sega Sammy Holdings headquartered in Tokyo, behind franchises such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Virtua Fighter, Yakuza and Persona. It developed its own consoles from 1983 to 2001, and for collectors it also produces prize figures for arcade crane games.
