Play Arts Kai Series
Square Enix’s premium action figure line (PLAY ARTS -KAI-, プレイアーツ改), created in 2009 as a larger, more finely detailed and painted evolution of the Play Arts figures Square Enix had developed in-house since 2003. Its first figures came from Capcom’s Resident Evil 5, the first product licensed from an outside company, and the line went on to cover licences such as Metal Gear Solid, Halo and Batman: Arkham Asylum alongside Square Enix’s own games.
